Biography
Xinge Zhang is a PhD candidate in the department of East Asian Languages and Cultures at University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Her research interest lies in the social history of medicine in China. Her dissertation project aims to examine the professionalization of medicine in late imperial China from the mid-sixteenth through the early twentieth centuries.
